We recommend you use fasteners to anchor the layout units to the floor. For example, you can use concrete screw anchors if you are installing the layout units on a concrete floor. Please refer to the fastener manufacturer’s specification for details of how to use each fastener.

We recommend you use eye protection goggles when installing our product. Safety goggles are intended to shield the wearer's eyes from impact hazards such as flying fragments, objects, large chips, and particles. Goggles fit the face immediately surrounding the eyes and form a protective seal around the eyes. This prevents objects from entering under or around the goggles.

We recommend you anchor both the layout units and the single wythe wall to the wall behind it. Anchoring systems for brick veneer walls come in a multitude of shapes and styles, but it is important to recognize that they do not all function alike. Various types of anchors offer differing benefits, such as greater strength or more adjustability to assure a sound connection. They also may offer an ability to span greater distances as the requirement for continuous exterior insulation creates wider cavities between the veneer and structural walls.

Always hold both the Block Interlocking Module and the brick attached to it as a single unit. Grab both at the same time. That way you ensure that both the Block Interlocking Module and the brick attached to it remain together and the brick does not fall to the floor after it is separated from the BIM prior to installation.
